Onboarding Houston

The third and most ambitious goal of Houston Coin is to onboard 100,000 Houstonians to the Solana blockchain—making Houston one of the most digitally connected and crypto-literate cities in the world. This isn’t about hype or speculation; it’s about access, education, and empowerment. We believe blockchain technology should be in the hands of everyday people, and Houston Coin is the vehicle to make that vision real.

Our approach is rooted in accessibility. Through local workshops, digital literacy programs, partnerships with schools, libraries, and community centers, we’ll demystify crypto and show Houstonians how to use it in ways that matter to them. Whether it’s learning to set up a wallet, claim a grant, or participate in governance, we want every person—regardless of age, background, or income level—to feel confident navigating Web3.

We’ll also create incentive programs to drive real adoption. From small Houston Coin airdrops for new users, to local businesses accepting it for goods and services, we’re building an ecosystem that makes using crypto not just possible—but practical. The more people use Houston Coin, the more powerful and connected the community becomes. And with Solana’s speed and low fees, we have the ideal chain to scale this mission.

By onboarding 100,000 people, we’re not just handing out tokens—we’re building economic inclusion. We’re creating a city where digital ownership is for everyone, where blockchain doesn’t just live in headlines, but in neighborhoods. This initiative is about closing the digital divide and making sure Houston isn’t just part of the future—it’s leading it.

Houston Coin is here to make blockchain feel local, useful, and empowering. Every wallet we onboard is another step toward a more inclusive and future-ready Houston. And when we say 100,000 wallets, we mean 100,000 people with a stake in something greater than themselves—a stake in their city, on-chain.
