Houston Coin Park / Snow Artist Commune

The second core mission of Houston Coin is to give back to the city in a lasting, physical way. That mission takes shape in the creation of Houston Coin Park—a public space funded by the community, for the community. More than just a park, it will be a cultural landmark that symbolizes the power of people coming together through crypto to build something real, tangible, and beautiful for Houston.
At the heart of this project will be the Snow Artist Commune—a permanent, supportive home for displaced artists. In a city where creative voices are too often underfunded or pushed aside, the commune will provide space, resources, and stability for artists who have lost theirs. This initiative recognizes a pressing and underserved need in Houston: safe, dignified space for those who shape the city’s cultural fabric.
Houston Coin Park will be made possible through direct donations from the Houston Coin ecosystem to the City of Houston, ensuring the project is fully transparent and officially recognized. We’re not building gated or private spaces—we’re creating open access. This park belongs to all Houstonians, regardless of background or zip code. It will stand as a monument to what grassroots blockchain projects can achieve when they’re powered by real community values and a deep love for place.
The park’s design and programming will reflect Houston’s dynamic and diverse identity. Think art installations from local and resident artists, including those from the Snow Commune, stages for live performance, space for food vendors and cultural festivals, and areas for gathering, reflection, and collaboration. Every square foot will carry meaning. Every element will honor Houston’s creative and communal spirit.
This won’t be a top-down project—it’s a movement. We’re calling on community members, displaced artists, urban planners, and city officials to co-create a living, breathing space that grows with the city. As the Houston Coin community expands, every wallet, every holder, every transaction becomes part of a larger purpose: building something that outlasts the blockchain.
Houston Coin Park is proof that crypto can be more than speculation—it can be sanctuary, civic action, and creative fuel. It’s a love letter to the city in concrete, grass, and art. And when we say we’re here for Houston, we mean it—block by block, park bench by park bench, and artist by artist.
